Drs. Barbara and Scot O’Donnell have been creating beautiful smiles in Liberty Hill and Central Texas for more than 25 years. We have only one location so that we can be here when you need us! We were the first orthodontic office in Liberty Hill and remain the only full time practice. In response to the needs of our community, we adjusted our schedule to mirror the Liberty Hill and Burnet school district calendars, allowing more convenient access to our services. MODERN TECHNOLOGY
Liberty Hill Orthodontics has recently updated all equipment technology in order to provide the safest, most comfortable and effective treatment available. Our x-ray machine allows us to take both 2D and 3D images utilizing the lowest radiation possible.
The Itero Lumina scanner eliminates uncomfortable dental impressions, provides photo realistic images and can even produce a simulated outcome.

BOTOX® is an FDA-approved, non-surgical treatment to prevent wrinkles from forming by weakening muscles of facial expression and other muscles in the head and neck that cause TMJ discomfort. After a complimentary consultation, treatment takes approximately 15 minutes. Dermal fillers add volume to the lips, nasolabial folds, oral commissures and other areas with lost volume.
Meet the Doctors
Liberty Hill Orthodontics is led by husband-and-wife orthodontists Dr. Scot O’Donnell and Dr. Barbara O’Donnell. Together, they combine extensive training and experience with a shared commitment to exceptional patient care.
Dr. Scot
Dr. Scot O’Donnell is a native of Chicago and earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from the University of Illinois. He continued his education at the University of Illinois College of Dentistry, from which he graduated with honors.
His postdoctoral residency was completed at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry. While there, he earned a Master of Science and a specialty certificate in orthodontics. His research on early treatment was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics.
Dr. Scot is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. He proudly supports the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and Brookwood in Georgetown.
Dr. Scot was fortunate to meet his wife Barbara, a native Austinite, during their residency in Oklahoma. They have three children: Tommy, Sarah, and Jake.
Drs. Barbara and Scot O’Donnell consider themselves fortunate to positively impact the dental health and self-esteem of their patients.
Dr. Barbara
Dr. Barbara O’Donnell is originally from Austin and graduated from Anderson High School. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Texas, she spent the next year teaching high school biology in Irving, Texas. While there, she developed a passion for mentoring young people and instilling confidence to help them thrive.
She enrolled at Baylor College of Dentistry and graduated with honors. Dr. Barbara completed her postdoctoral residency at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry and earned a Master of Science degree and a Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics.
Dr. Barbara has advanced training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and offers injections of botulism toxin and dermal fillers.
Dr. Barbara has a special appreciation for members of the military and provides orthodontic treatment for active duty members and their families on base at Fort Hood on Wednesdays. When Dr. Barbara is not at work, she enjoys playing tennis, wake surfing and eFoiling with her boys, Tommy and Jake. She and her daughter, Sarah, love riding and caring for their horses, Butch and Sundance, chilling out with their cat, Martin, and walking their dogs, Bailey and Pugsley. Dr. Barbara believes everyone has unique qualities and value and looks forward to working with you to achieve your orthodontic goals.
